For nearly 2 decades the Central Upstate New York region has been engaged in green sector development. We are a region with a rich history of innovation and creativity; and we are a region where the raw materials for creativity – history, architecture, intelligence and the natural world – exist in abundance. It’s a region that is home to the largest wind farm east of the Mississippi. It’s a region that is home to the Northeast’s first ethanol production plant. We currently have new developments and emerging companies in areas like-indoor air quality, renewable energy, green building materials, and water quality.
